Shopping and Returns

Can I order items to be sent as gifts?
Any item you select can be shipped to another recipient as a gift. We regret that because of the large size of many of our products, we do not gift-wrap; however, a personalized message may be included in the package. Customers receive the opportunity to add their own message to the recipient during the check out process.

What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

How is sales tax calculated?
Since our corporate headquarters are located in Austin, Texas, sales tax on the merchandise total and delivery charges are applied to all sales based on the sales-tax rates for the state of Texas.

Will La Gavia Imports confirm my order by email?
We ask that you provide your email address when placing your order so that we can send you an email confirmation within 24 hours.

What is La Gavia’s return policy?
If you are not satisfied for any reason, please call 1-888-999-6211 (Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5pm CST) or email service@lagavia.com within 30 days from the date your order was shipped. Once you speak to a customer service representative, please send the item back with a copy of your original order confirmation, and we will be credit you the price of the item minus our hard costs for freight and delivery (which may exceed the Delivery Charge on the site) and their applicable taxes.

In the rare case that your product was damaged in shipment, you will need to note the damage at the time of delivery, and we can assist in filing a claim with the freight company. Please email us immediately at service@lagavia.com or call 1-888-999-6211 for return/replacement instructions.

Delivery and Order Tracking

When will my purchase be delivered? How can I check the status of an order?
Unless otherwise noted in the product description, one of our premier delivery services will deliver your package about 20-25 business days from the placement of your order. The procedure for home delivery varies slightly according to the shipping company. Generally, you will receive a call to set an appointment for delivery at your home. In some cases you may authorize the shipper to leave the package without a signature.

What company handles delivery for La Gavia Imports?
Because we are committed to modest delivery charges and at the same time require a high degree of care in handling, we have selected UPS and five exclusive freight services – SAIA, Watkins, USF, R+L Carriers and GI Trucking – as our premier delivery services. On each customer’s order, we select the best services for a specific size of order and geographic region to obtain the best quality/cost combination. Large items will be delivered via freight service while smaller furniture, housewares and gifts arrive via UPS. How are delivery charges calculated?
La Gavia Imports bears most of the burden of shipping and handling costs rather than passing them on to the customer. Much like local furniture stores, La Gavia Imports adds a delivery charge appropriate to the size of the item. In this way, customers all over the United States pay the same low price and can be informed of the total price before making the purchase decision.

Can orders be shipped to foreign countries, Hawaii or Alaska?
We regret that we're currently unable to ship to destinations outside the continental United States.
